MyTrails Contacts is a companion to the main MyTrails application, which allows MyTrails to offer the ability to look up contacts without relying on the READ_CONTACTS permission, which is widely regarded as a dangerous permission (it would allow a malicious application to harvest all the users contacts information).This way, users who trust MyTrails can have the full functionality, and others need not worry about the integrity of their contacts.
